The EECS Department offers master's and doctoral degrees in two graduate programs (CSE and ECE; see boxes below), each of which is administered by the Rackham Graduate School.
EECS is organized into two divisions: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). The CSE division administers the CSE Graduate Program; the ECE division administers the ECE Graduate Program.
With both graduate programs (CSE and ECE) within one department, EECS enables students to have a home in a degree program tailored closely to their interests, while having access to, and the benefits of, the full breadth of the EECS Department.
