  有问必答

Q : What do you think is the most important component of an application and why?

A : Personal statement is of utmost importance. Unlike other quantitative indicators of your abilities, personal statement is the only one in which you can demonstrate your unique features, distinctive experience. The personal statement could really help the admission officers learn more about your own uniqueness. In addition, unlike GPA, GRE and TOEFL, it is the only application component you have complete control of throughout this application process.

Q : Why do you want to mentor a student?

A : There are powers in this world that are much smarter than we are. You can get there on your own, but it's easier with the help of the powers that be. I would never have gotten to where I am now without amazing mentors, amazing individuals who have taken me under their wing and guided me towards what I wanted to do. Providing a service to students is giving back what I learned from my past mentors.
