After Zhen QIN finished his bachelor and master degree in Nanjing University, he received an offer from New Jersey Institute of Technology in United States, where he accomplished his PhD’s degree in Material Science and Engineering. During the days of his study, Zhen participated in various projects including CVD growth of SiC thin films, crystal growth of Fe-based superconductors, characterizations of strong correlated materials under extremely high pressure and low temperature, evanescent-wave-based metamaterials for sub-wavelength imaging. His research was published on Physical Review B, Solid State Communications, Thin Solid Films and international conference proceedings. After graduation, he found a position in Photovoltaic industry. Three years later he resigned and devoted himself into a startup company till now.
