Candice Qian has a passionate mind for educating and empowering youth. Candice earned a B.A. in public service administration from Beijing Normal University and a MA in Human Development and Psychology from University of California at Los Angeles. Now, she is finishing up a PhD in Social Science and Comparative Education funded by a full scholarship. Candice is interdisciplinary personnel. She has acquired a wealth of knowledge in education, psychology and sociology and can use them flexibly to studying the educational problems. She is trying to use the theory of emotions in social interaction to explore educational problems and phenomena in campus interaction will provide us with a new perspective in studies on education.
