Xuehui Gong is currently a second year master student in Case Western Reserve University working on rheology study of PolyHIPE (high internal phase emulsions). She received her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and decided to go further in her graduate program. When working as a research assistant, she is trying to detect the factors which will help to form idea PolyHIPE fiber surface, exploring the potential of this novel fiber applicate in control and release system. At the same time, she served as a teaching assistant for senior lab, assisting in the overall organization, doing the grading and providing guidance to individuals. Last summer, she volunteered to teach children Chinese songs in Cleveland Contemporary Chinese Culture Association (CCCCA).
